Jewelry Care

18 Karats Plated 925 Sterling Silver Jewelry

MATERIAL

Our jewelry is made from high quality 925 Sterling Silver, and every piece is carefully crafted with attention to every detail. We are using a very strong 1 micron Yellow Gold Plating that the plating lasts for years and doesn't change color.

JEWELRY CARE

Taking care of your jewelry will help ensure its beauty, lustre and longevity. How? We recommend to put off your jewelry before taking a shower, hot tub, pool or when washing hands. Also we advice you to remove jewelry when doing any physical activity. Contact with harsh chemicals will result in compromising the integrity of your jewelry. Chlorine, cleaning agents, salt water, perfumes and silver polish can speed up the oxidation process.

Silver tarnishes quite quickly when it comes into contact with oxygen or sulfur. Happily, the best measure to prevent this is wearing your silver jewelry often. The oils in your skin help prevent tarnish. (This varies depending on your own body chemistry.)

When storing your silver jewelry, use an airtight plastic bag (like a Ziploc) and if you can, put in a piece of chalk or a silica gel (the little packets in new shoes) - these will help prevent tarnish while you are not wearing your silver.

CHAIN CARE

  • Use warm water and mild soap
  • Polish chain with a soft cloth or polishing cloth
  • Always dry the jewelry before storing

Diamond Jewelry

MATERIAL

Our diamonds collections are made out of highest quality materials and every piece is handcrafted, embellished with hand-setted diamonds and other beautiful gemstones. For the base material, we are using 925 Sterling Silver or 9k and 14k Gold. All the base materials are getting an extra treatment with a high quality plating of 18 karats Rose Gold and Yellow Gold Plating, or Rhodium and Black Rhodium Plating.

JEWELRY CARE

Take good care of your jewelry that is set with diamonds or other gemstones. Even a diamond can chip if hit with enough force or at just the right angle. Stone types such as amethyst, emerald, opal, pearl, peridot, tanzanite and tourmaline are very delicate and easily abraded. Gemstones could also damage or scratch other gemstones. Avoid stacking rings with more vulnerable gemstones together. Also extreme temperatures, perfume, cosmetics and household chemicals could damage jewelry.

For our Silver Jewelry use the same instructions as said before.

Most colored gems can be cleaned with warm water, mild dish soap (no detergents) and a soft brush. A pulsed-water dental cleaning appliance and a soft, lint-free cloth can also be used. Be sure to rinse your jewelry in a glass of water to remove cleaning solutions since you risk losing loose stones – or even an entire piece of jewelry - if you rinse directly in the sink.
